The President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, captured his meeting with the Captains Regent and the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Glasgow.
 
At the end of the royal reception at the Kelvingrove Museum in Glasgow, President Biden took a selfie with Their Excellencies Francesco Mussoni and Giacomo Simoncini, together with the Minister for Foreign Affairs Luca Beccari, thus testifying a sincere friendship between the two countries.
 
During the World Leaders Summit, which was attended by Heads of State and Government from 100 countries, the San Marino delegation, headed by the Captains Regent and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, had bilateral meetings with many political leaders, including President Biden. This was a confirmation of the solid relations the two countries have had for over 100 years. The occasion marked the 160th anniversary of the letter sent by President Abraham Lincoln to the Captains Regent on 7 May 1861, in response to their letter of 29 March 1861.
