Yesterday, the new headquarters of the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of San Marino with jurisdiction over the entire territory of the Republic of Ireland were inaugurated in Dublin.
In a short ceremony, the Ambassador of San Marino to Ireland, Dario Galassi, and the Honorary Consul in Dublin, Furio Pietribiasi, symbolically unveiled the consular shield together, thus marking the official opening of the Honorary Consulate in Dublin.
The inauguration, was the occasion for Ambassador Galassi, to convey the greetings of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Luca Beccari. He confirmed the Government's willingness in maintaining strong and fruitful relations between San Marino and Ireland in the interest of San Marino authorities, citizens and companies.
The already existing excellent bilateral relations were also highlighted as well as the desire to further strengthen them in the future, also as a result of the Association Agreement with the European Union. The opening of the new Honorary Consulate of San Marino in Dublin will contribute to provide an impetus in this direction, in addition to representing a point of reference for fellow citizens residing or visiting Ireland.
