Today the Director-General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), H.E. Qu Dongyu, is visiting San Marino, accompanied by his own high Delegation.

The Director General was welcomed at Palazzo Begni by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Luca Beccari. In the morning, they had a political-diplomatic meeting, in which they retraced the most important moments of the fruitful relations between the Republic of San Marino and the International Organization.

In the presence of the respective Delegations, they discussed the active commitment of San Marino within the FAO, in which it has held important positions and still has leading roles in the internal bodies, thanks also to the accredited Permanent Mission, led by Ambassador Daniela Rotondaro.
