This morning, the Ceremony of presentation of the Credential Letters of seven new Ambassadors accredited to the Republic of San Marino has taken place at the Government Building in front of Their Excellencies the Captains Regent Oscar Mina and Paolo Rondelli.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs;Luca Beccari welcomed and introduced Johan Vibe, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway, H.E. Tony Raful Tejeda, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic, H:E. Elissa Ann Golberg, Ambassador of Canada, H.E. Eleni Sourani, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic, H.E. Ana María Reyes Castillo, Ambassador of the Republic of Panama, H.E. Khalid Yousuf K. A. Al-Sada, Ambassador of the State of Qatar and H.E. Yiorgos Christofides, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus, who presented their Credential Letters to the Captains Regents.

In his speeches, Minister Beccari emphasised that the Ministry and the Department of Foreign Affairs are fully available to work with the States represented by the new Ambassadors on issues of common interest, such as multilateral cooperation, the strengthening of bilateral relations and agreements in strategic areas for economic, social and cultural development.

During all the speeches, extensive attention was again devoted to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Everyone reiterated the need for political mediation that could lead to a hoped-for peace process.

At the end of the Ceremony, the new Ambassadors have signed the Book of Illustrious Guests.
