The 28th OSCE Ministerial Council will take place in Stockholm on the 2nd and 3rd December. This annual assembly of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the member States is the main decision-making and governing body of the Organization.
As every year, San Marino will take part in the works of the Council through the participation of a delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Luca Beccari, accompanied by the Ambassador of San Marino to the OSCE, Elena Molaroni, and by diplomatic officials.
Tomorrow afternoon, minister Beccari will address the plenary session, giving a speech that will focus on the value of multilateralism and of sharing solutions to the most recent challenges. The agenda also includes many bilateral meetings with counterparts gathered for the annual multilateral meeting.
On Friday, an important agreement on mutual recognition of visas will be signed with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergei Lavrov. This occasion will also be an opportunity to discuss ongoing bilateral and multilateral cooperation projects.
